Age of Empires II is getting remastered with a new campaign

Real-time strategy players will find themselves going back in time this fall -- back to the Middle Ages and back to 1999.

Xbox has revealed that it's remastering the ever-popular Age of Empires II. It's getting the 4K treatment, an audio overhaul, and a new campaign. The campaign is called "The Last Khans."

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition launches sometime this fall. It'll be apart of Xbox Game Pass when it releases.
