Alex Kurtzman is working on four new Star Trek shows for CBS, Picard may return

With the success of Star Trek: Discovery on CBS's All Access, and that nasty business with its showrunner getting ousted for verbal abuse, CBS is full steam ahead with Alex Kurtzman leading the way on building their own corner of the Star Trek universe. So much so that they've inked a $25 million deal with Kurtzman to oversee the franchise for the next five years, developing multiple shows over that time.
