While I doubt many of us would leap at the opportunity to step into the ring with Sub-Zero, Shao Kahn or, God forbid, Erron Black in real life, a new, fan-created mod for Mortal Kombat 11 offers the opportunity to get closer to the action than ever before, implementing a weird first-person camera.
The MK11Hook - created by modder Ermaccer - lets you essentially step into the skull of your favorite fighter, mere minutes before it is separated from their shoulders. A video of the mod in action, (which you can check out below) sees poster boy Scorpion going nose-to-nose with Noob Saibot, while an alternate third-person camera sees Spawn tackle Shokan queen Sheeva. The camera-offset options also offer interesting new perspectives on some of MK 11's stages.
