We're heading into a pivotal moment of Dragon Ball FighterZ's lifecycle. It managed to come in and knock out all of the competition at EVO with the biggest stream ever, even Arc System Work's own BlazBlue Cross Tag Battleand Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 -- franchises that have existed for years on end. A lot of people are looking to get into FighterZ right now and Arc is facilitating that with various patches that help smooth up some rough edges and add new content into the mix.
Today patch 1.11 is live across the world, which brings in "Base Goku" and "Base Vegeta," as fighters, as well as a number of changes. You can find the full list below, but highlights include more options for matchmaking, input delay options for local play, swapping concessions (hold either the L1 button or L2 button on the screen before a match to change your first character), and a whole heap of extra training options.
Balances are also in tow including major changes for Frieza, Cell, Android 18, Gotenks, Vegeta (SSGSS), Android 21, and several others. For reference, Bardock, Zamasu (Fused), Android 16, Cell, Bardock, and Vegeta (Super Saiyan) were all used in the EVO FighterZ finals.
