EA originally planned to host live-streamed events for E3 2019 across multiple days, but that schedule has since condensed into one main event on Saturday, June 8. Today, the company detailed which games we can expect to see at EA Play 2019, and there are a couple of curious omissions. Anthemwill be playable at the Los Angeles event, but it's not listed on the schedule as getting any screentime.
EA Play 2019 will stream on YouTube and Twitch. Here's the lineup:
I appreciate the game-by-game breakdown here, because oh my goodness that's a three-hour block on a sunny Saturday. These games cater to very different audiences and EA has struggled to properly pace its traditional E3 press conferences in the past and these EA Play streams in recent years. If you see something you like on that list, just show up, get the lowdown, and get out while you can.
It's entirely possible that EA will save an announcement for Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference on Sunday, June 9. I'm still waiting for my precious Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, after all.
