After a lengthy nearly three year run (!) Final Fantasy XV's content is coming to a close.
It was hard to keep track of everything, from the pre-release demo with exclusive content, to the three gaiden add-ons to the "Royal" edition and even a multiplayer component, but with today's drop of Episode Ardyn it's all over. Former director Hajime Tabata has moved on to his own studio and the dream is over.
Although it has a decidedly mixed reception, Final Fantasy XV was a hell of a ride for me. I was initially taken aback by the sheer outpouring of XV and Noctis related crossovers but eventually was swept up in the flood. Noctis is here to stay and that's fine with me.
