Nintendo's fantasy RPG Fire Emblem: Three Houses has managed to hold fort for a second week at the top of the UK Charts, with the various high-class educational institutes fending off advances from some of the UK's biggest physical sellers.
Bethesda' sisterly shooter Wolfenstein: Youngblood has slipped from second place to ninth, whilst Activision's Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled sits pretty at number three. Electronic Arts' latest entry in the never-ending Madden series secured a decent debut for UK shores, breaking in at number five, while their soccer release FIFA 19 once again makes a play for the top, climbing back to number two.
Elsewhere in the charts, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate managed to squeeze its way back into the Top Ten, while fellow Switch title Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 may have had its moment of glory, dropping from number six to number 18. Overall, it's been a fairly meandering summer for physical sales, with most titles merely jockeying for position, rather than holding particular periods of dominance. It will be interesting to see if the events of Evo 2019 cause a burst of popularity for fighters over the next week.
