GTA Online adds battle royale mode in latest update

It seems Rockstar Games have caught wind of the success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegroundsand added their own take on itin the form of “Motor Wars” in the latest "Smuggler's Run" update forGrand Theft Auto Online (which is available now). This new game mode they've introduced essentially mimics the mechanics of other battle royale games and will most likely continue to secureGTA V's weekly top 10 sales ranks across the world for years to come.

The players are broken up into four teams, parachute out of a plane, and a giant kill box periodically shrinks as the game goes on. Players will be able to find various weapons strewn about, as well as explosives, and weaponized vehicles to spice things up.
