Final Fantasy X has come a long, long way. Even in 2001 I remember it being polarizing, from the cast choices, to the cutscene dialogue (I'll let you ponder on which one in particular became the poster child for that criticism), to the ending and core motivations of the antagonists.
From that flawed but beautiful seed came a full sequel, practically unheard of at the time in the Final Fantasy series, on top of a series of cameos in other games and a legacy that would live on over a decade later in the form of a remaster. That compilation, mind (the X/X-2 HD Remaster) arrived on the PS3, PS4, and Vita in the past, but it's poised for a Switch and Xbox One release very soon (XB1 is this month, Switch is in May).
Although you've probably seen these scenes a trillion times (they've proliferated all across various video services beyond the confines of the games themselves), you can get a quick glimpse at Tidus and Yuna's various key moments below from both X and X-2. If you're keen on jumping in completely blind somehow you should probably abstain, but everyone else should get a kick out of the mix of action-packed hijinks and romance the Xsubseries is known for.
