No plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Switch, according to Treyarch

It's not exactly unexpected to hear that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4will be skipping Nintendo Switch, but here we go. In an interview, Twinfinite asked game designer Matt Scronce if there are plans to bring "any aspect of Black Ops 4" to the system, to which he responded, "No there is not."

As you might've heard yesterday from the reveal event, the game is split up into a few different segments -- some familiar, some new to Call of Duty. There's competitive multiplayer with specialist characters, multiple zombie offerings including a gladiator map, a battle royale mode called Blackout, and no single-player campaign. Not long ago, rumors surfaced about Blackout making it to Switch.

I can't say I'd personally want to play Black Ops 4on Switch, but I sure would be curious to see how that type of game would sell. It's strange to think that this system will soon have Wolfenstein II: The New Colossusof all shooters in its library but not a single Call of Dutytitle to speak of.
