One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is set to continue the wacky hijinks of the Straw Hat Pirate crew sometime in 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. This plucky little subfranchise (which itself is an extension of Omega Force and Koei Tecmo's popular Warriors umbrella) has been one of the more lucrative and long-surviving ones of the bunch, with the original Pirate Warriors debuting in 2012.
Today at Gamescom Bandai Namco unveiled more footage for the fourth iteration, which includes a lengthy look at the (food-themed) Totto Land Islands and their ruler, Big Mom, from the Whole Cake Island Arc of the anime. Reiju, Yonji, Niji, Ichiji, Sanji (returning), and Jinbei (returning) were also revealed as playable characters this week.
I know keeping up to date with the One Piece anime can be an insurmountable task (it has over 900 episodes at this point), so the games are a perfect way to catch up.
