When the Nintendo Switch launched, it lacked several apps and features that had been mainstays of not just the Wii U, but pretty much anywhere people could play games. One of those absent apps was Netflix, and given the portable nature of the console, fans and critics alike were puzzled why Nintendo was trailing behind the competition with the absence of the app. Thankfully, Nintendo seems to have finally caught up.
An anonymous Netflix sales representative unveiled today that the app for the Nintendo Switch is "locked and loaded" and only requires approval from Nintendo before hitting the eShop. This information comes via GoNintendo user KamehamehaX, who is the claimed Netflix representative and source for this story.
Neither Netflix or Nintendo have confirmed the report at the time of writing this story.
