Scientists have been frantically trying to solve the mystery of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) for the better part of a decade. CCD is a disastrous situation within a bee hive that's basically what it sounds like -- bees start rapidly dying off until there is no longer sufficient population to sustain the colony. A newly published study from the University of Maryland and the US Department of Agriculture may point to the cause, and itโ€™s more complicated than expected.
