SNK 40th Anniversary Collection coming to Xbox One next week

A listing on the Microsoft store has revealed that SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is set to launch on Xbox One next week. Already available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, the retro compendium features a glut of the early games that made SNK a name in the golden age of the arcade.

Included in the collection are a glut of shooters, including Ikari Warriors, Beast Busters, and Prehistoric Isle 1930. Cutesy platformers like Athena - and its sequel Psycho Soldier - sit alongside terrible fighter Street Smart and 1981 hot-air balloon adventure Fantasy. The package features 24 games in all and, for some titles, includes both the arcade and home editions.
