Japanese magazine Famitsu has shared some sales figures for Nintendo paint-em-up Splatoon 2, and it has been a great debut week for the colour-drenched sequel.
Within just the first three days of release, the game shifted 670,955 units in Japan. Not only does that beat the debut of the original Splatoon by several hundred thousand copies, but it's one third of the lifelong Japanese sales of the previous game.
Clearly this brand has been established, at least in its home country. I'm intrigued to see the figures for the West as Splatoon 2 hits its first full week of release tomorrow.
