This past week in Japan saw the PlayStation 4 surpass the Nintendo Switch for the first time since the launch of the Switch back on March 3, 2017. Switch shortages could be the major cause, as the only two new releases on PlayStation 4 were online games Dragon Quest X: All in One Package and Dragon's Dogma Online Season 3which only sold 14,052 and 4,590 copies respectively.
The newest Dragon Quest game still occupies the throne of game sales followed by Splatoon 2and Level-5's latest game, The Snack World.
