Just in time for Scarlet and Violet
Pokemon is coming up on its 30th anniversary in 2026, and it's been around for longer than some of you have been alive. I remember vividly when some parents at the time called it a fad: well, who's laughing now? The Pokemon Company, all the way to the bank.
Once you're in, you'll walk through an interactive game of sorts, where you can control a little avatar with a mouse click/tap or the arrow keys. While most of the text is in Japanese, you'll still be able to see dates for releases clearly: as well as installations like the giant Game Boy and the packaging for Pokemon Red and Green. Starters, legendaries, and key Pokemon are part of the exhibit too: and can be clicked on for further investigation (as well as items like the Pokeflute).
It's genius timing, as Scarlet and Violet are going to usher in a brand new generation in just a week.
