When it comes to console controllers, right now, I'm good. They all (more or less) work as intended. I've got enough of them to go around for local co-op get-togethers. I shouldn't be out here paying attention to new color variants. I'm not in the market. And yet... This purple Xbox One controller kinda rules!
New pick-up. Pre-order the Fortnite Special Edition Controller and get ready for the @FortniteGame World Cup Finals, July 26-28.

Originally, the controller was tied to a special edition Fortnite Xbox One S bundle, but Microsoft plans to set the device free. Starting September 17, you'll be able to buy the gamepad for $65 on its own.
Along with the usual features like a headphone jack and Bluetooth support, this purple pad also comes with the Legendary Dark Vertex outfit and 500 V-Bucks. It's compatible with Xbox One and PC.
Microsoft is not-so-low-key killing it with gamepad colorways this console generation.
